  • 'Show of the Year!' - High School Musical

    The Rosedale Hewens Academy Trusts Performing Arts Alliance put on a spectacular 3-night performance of High School Musical Jr. The cast consisted of their Btec Performing Arts students who included a cool, calm and collected popular Troy Bolton. A sweet, intelligent, musically talented Gabriella Montez. And, an egocentric, sassy Sharpay Evans, who doesn’t let anyone forget she is the leader of the pack.

    The cast worked endlessly to put on the show of the year - well done to everyone involved!

  • Inspiring Visit from Festus Akinbusoye

    On 5th December 2024, our Year 5 and 6 pupils at Hewens Primary School had the privilege of hearing from Festus Akinbusoye, the UK’s first Black Police and Crime Commissioner. Festus shared his incredible journey of resilience, determination, and success, captivating our pupils with stories of his entrepreneurial ventures and ground-breaking career achievements. He spoke about overcoming challenges, the importance of staying focused on goals, and the value of making a positive impact in the community. His inspirational message left a lasting impression, encouraging our young learners to embrace their potential, dream big, and approach their futures with confidence and perseverance.

  • Former student is part of MasterChef The Professionals 2024!

    Congratulations to one of our former students Chloe who is part of MasterChef The Professionals 2024! Chloe is a highly talented chef and enjoyed her Food Technology lessons at Hewens College before she attended Parkside Studio College to study hospitality. Chloe went on to study Professional Cookery at Kent College and has worked at restaurants across London such as the Michelin-starred Glasshouse, Duck and Waffle, the Georgian House and the Michelin-starred Kitchen W8.
