Rosedale College
Hewens provides extensive support and guidance to help parents to support their children’s learning. Curriculum maps, scheduled curriculum meetings for all year groups, termly parents’ consultation meetings are all in place and evidenced. The school has introduced an innovative approach to the parents’ consultation events by using the afternoon of staff training days for the consultations, This system is working well for both teachers and parents.
Hewens Primary School
The school provides a wealth of information on the children’s progress, targets and attainment. Curriculum Maps, annual curriculum meetings, an open door, weekly booster classes, holiday activities in English and Maths are all in place.

Temperatures in Hayes are forecast to exceed 30°C this week. To support the comfort and wellbeing of all pupils and students, we have implemented the following measures: Blazers and ties are not required • Pupils and students are encouraged to wear their PE kit • Pupils and students should bring a full water bottle to remain hydrated throughout the day • Pupils and students are advised to apply sun cream before they leave for school. Our site team will be arriving early each morning to ventilate classrooms and help maintain a cooler environment. Where appropriate, some lessons may be relocated to cooler areas; form tutors will notify pupils and students of any such changes. We will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and make any necessary adjustments. The health, safety, and wellbeing of our pupils and students remain our highest priority.
