Hewens College
Hewens College is committed to creating a learning environment where every student has the opportunity to make good progress and achieve their full potential. Through successful partnership working, the college is delivering a broad and innovative curriculum which engages, enthuses and inspires its students.
Hewens is an inclusive College that provides education for children aged 11 to 19. The College recognises the importance of offering a range of experiences to inspire personal confidence, allowing each student to develop personally and socially.
As well as Ofsted recognition for its achievements, in March 2017, Hewens College was nationally recognised for its exceptional 2016 performance with regard to Key Stage 2 through to the end of Key Stage 4 progress and as such won an Educational Outcomes award.
The College continues to improve its outcomes for students, with significant improvements in progress and attainment in its 2018 GCSE results. Under new senior leadership, Hewens College is going from strengrh to strength.
